Located in a historical manor right in the heart of Shanghai, Shanghai Magnolia Kindergarten offers a unique educational environment for children aged 2 to 6. The campus, which has been expanded to 3,000 square meters, features a blend of traditional and modern architecture, providing a stimulating space for learning and play.
Curriculum & Philosophy
Magnolia Kindergarten offers a bilingual curriculum with two main sections:
- English/Chinese Section: This program combines the British National Curriculum (EYFS) with the Chinese Curriculum.
- French/Chinese Section: This program integrates the French National Curriculum with the Chinese Curriculum.
Classes are structured with a balanced approach, with students receiving 2.5 days of instruction in either English or French and 2.5 days in Chinese. The school’s educational philosophy is centered on nature and ecological education, encouraging children to be curious, expressive, and hands-on learners. They use a variety of recycled materials and emphasize practical skills.
